Epsilon wetland scientists completed a wildlife habitat evaluation for the proposed Blackstone Highlands Retirement Community project located in Grafton and Sutton, Massachusetts. This work was undertaken in accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act regulations (310 CMR 10.60). Epsilon concluded through its investigation that vegetation structure, composition and adjoining edge habitat and other important wildlife habitat features were present on the project site. The results of the habitat evaluation along with recommended wildlife habitat mitigation measures were incorporated into the Client’s Notice of Intent application filed with the Sutton Conservation Commission.

Epsilon wetland scientists completed a wildlife habitat evaluation for a proposed athletic field complex at the North Andover High School in North Andover, Massachusetts. Epsilon’s work was completed in accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act regulations (310 CMR 10.60) and the North Andover Wetland Protection Bylaw. Epsilon inventoried important wildlife habitat features in the vicinity of the impact area including existing plant communities, wetland resource areas, soil and hydrologic conditions, and other habitat continuity features (e.g., nesting, breeding, feeding areas, etc.). Based on the results of the investigation, the local Conservation Commission concurred with Epsilon’s findings that construction of the fields would not have an adverse effect on important wildlife habitat components. The Conservation Commission issued an Order of Conditions authorizing construction of the athletic fields.
