Congratulations to the Senator Joseph Finnegan Park at Port Norfolk Project Team
June 11, 2018
On June 27th, the Environmental Business Council of New
England (EBC) will hold its 25th Annual EBEE Awards and
28th Annual Meeting. Each year the event recognizes companies,
organizations, and individuals for outstanding accomplishments in
the promotion of a sustainable, clean environment. Epsilon is proud
to sponsor the dinner and acknowledge all the 2018 EBEE award
recipients for their impressive accomplishments.
We are also excited to be among the award recipients and would like to
congratulate Epsilon Principal Mike Howard along with representatives
from Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation,
GEI Consultants, Halvorson Design Partnership, Inc., Exponent, DeRosa Environmental Consulting, Inc., and SumCo Eco-Contracting, LLC. Together, they received the EBC Nicholas Humber Environmental - Energy Award for Outstanding Collaboration for their joint effort on the Senator Joseph Finnegan Park at Port Norfolk. The award was given in recognition of the outstanding collaboration resulting in the full remediation and transformation of the contaminated Shaffer Paper Site into a park that now provides passive recreation and extends the Greenway through the Port Norfolk neighborhood.
Register to attend the awards ceremony on the EBC website.
