Vineyard Wind Connector Achieves Key Milestone
February 12, 2019
Epsilon is excited to share the news that the Vineyard Wind Connector has completed the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) Review Process. In December 2018, Epsilon submitted a Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) on behalf of Vineyard Wind to the MEPA Office. On February 1, 2019, Vineyard Wind received Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Matthew Beaton’s Certificate on FEIR determining that it adequately and properly complied with MEPA. This is a great step forward, as the MEPA review process is now complete, and the 800-MW offshore wind generation and transmission project can proceed through state, regional, and local permitting.
This is yet another great milestone for this critical renewable energy project, and Epsilon is excited to be working with Vineyard Wind to bring the project to construction later this year.
