Epsilon Speaking at the EUEC 2014 Conference
December 4, 2013
Epsilon Associate Steve Slocomb and Senior Consultant Vincent Tino will be presenting at the Energy, Utility, & Environment (EUEC) 2014 Conference, taking place on February 3-5 in Phoenix, Arizona. EUEC 2014 is the 17th annual conference covering clean renewable and alternate energy solutions to secure energy independence from foreign oil, while protecting the environment.
Steve will be speaking on Monday, February 3rd during the Shale Gas/LNG/Natural Gas session. His presentation, The Effect of Shale Gas on Power Generation in the Northeast (New England, NY and PJM), includes background information on gas turbine combined cycle plants as well as information on natural gas, shale gas, and oil prices and how they affected power plant operation.
Vincent will be speaking on Wednesday, February 5th during the Modeling session. His presentation, Evaluation of NO2 Predictions by the Plume Volume Molar Ratio Method (PVMRM) & Ozone Limiting Method (OLM) in AERMOD Using New Field Observations, will cover analysis of the technical aspects of PVMRM as implemented in AERMOD, as well as a new comparison of modeled versus monitored NO2 concentrations using the PVMRM NOx to NO2 conversion routine.
