Managing Principal Rob O’Neal and Lead Engineer Clint Cyr attended the premiere conference for noise control engineering professionals, Noise-CON 2024, in New Orleans this summer. Noise-CON is an annual conference hosted by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the USA (INCE-USA) that offers technical insight in the field of acoustics and noise control which are becoming increasingly relevant in our industrialized nation.

Clint Cyr, who is Board Certified by INCE-USA, delivered an insightful presentation on the emerging noise-related regulatory challenges within New York State’s electric and natural gas transmission permitting process through the Department of Public Service, known as Article VII. His presentation was well attended and included a dynamic Q&A session at the end. Clint and Rob, who is also INCE Board Certified, attended numerous other paper presentations relevant to Epsilon’s work in acoustics including those on community noise and industrial noise. They also had the pleasure of engaging with fellow acoustic professionals and product vendors, fostering valuable connections, and exchanging industry knowledge. Epsilon looks forward to attending future conferences by INCE-USA.
