Epsilon is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Callahan, INCE, to Group Manager of the Acoustics Group. In this new role, Ryan will lead a talented group of engineers and scientists, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects addressing noise and vibration across multiple industries.
Ryan joined Epsilon in 2017 as a Senior Engineer after spending approximately 12 years at Tech Environmental. He was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2021, and in 2023 advanced to Associate. With a BS in Civil Engineering from Northeast University and nearly 20 years of industry experience, Ryan has completed acoustic assessments for hundreds of projects, including renewable energy facilities, battery energy storage systems, wind and solar projects, industrial complexes, construction sites, data centers, and warehouses. His expertise extends across jurisdictions nationwide, presenting complex analyses in a manner that allows regulators at the town, county, and state level to understand the studies, facilitating successful project approvals.
Ryan’s dedication and work ethic are evident in his ability to balance competing demands from multiple clients and projects daily, consistently delivering high-quality results. His leadership is recognized both within and outside the team – as a Project Manager, colleagues respect his guidance and direction, and he actively drives initiatives within the group, involving staff to achieve identified goals. Additionally, Ryan embraces a mentor mindset, sharing insights with team members, providing in-office guidance to younger staff, and offering thoughtful and honest assessments on modeling, monitoring, data analysis, and client interactions.
Having previously served as Group Manager himself, Rich Lampeter reflected on the importance of the position and his confidence in Ryan stepping into the role:
“Since Ryan’s arrival at Epsilon, he has been a key member of the Acoustics Group. His mastery of complex acoustic principles, calm demeanor, and ability to identify practical solutions to challenges will undoubtedly lead to future success in his new role.”

With this promotion, Ryan will guide the Acoustics Group toward continued growth and excellence, fostering staff development, advancing innovative approaches to environmental acoustics, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-focused solutions.
