Robert Hellweg Chairs Two Meetings at International Noise Conference

Epsilon Senior Consultant Robert Hellweg recently chaired two meetings at INTER-NOISE 2013, the 42nd International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering, which took place in September in Innsbruck, Austria. The conference was sponsored by the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE), and was organized by the Austrian Noise Abatement Association.
The theme of the event was “Noise Control for Quality of Life.” Bob is the co-convener of the I-INCE Technical Study Group 10 on “Buy Quiet” Programs that met just before INTER-NOISE 2013. He is also the convener of the International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Committee 43 (Acoustics) Subcommittee 1 (Noise) Working Group 28, which met for two days in Innsbruck to revise existing international standards on measuring noise from industrial machinery, commercial equipment, and consumer products.
