Gearing Up for AWEA’s WINDPOWER 2014
April 7, 2014
Epsilon is excited to return as an exhibitor at this year’s
WINDPOWER conference, hosted by the American Wind Energy
Association (AWEA). The conference will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada
on May 5 – 8, 2014. The conference and exhibition provide a central
place for industry leaders and experts to discover the latest in
industry products and services and find solutions to business challenges.
On Tuesday, May 6 at 11:00 am during the “Don't Build Here, Go Over There - Current Challenges In Siting” session, Kenneth Kaliski from RSG will be presenting The Massachusetts Research Study on Wind Turbine Acoustics – Methods and Goals. Epsilon is a key member of the project team, and has conducted fieldwork at many of the sites in the study.
We hope you will stop by our booth (#4855) on Wednesday, May 7th at 3:30 pm to watch a live presentation on Sound Level Compliance Testing at Wind Farms. The presentation will include a live demonstration of how a sound meter works and a Q&A session about sound level compliance testing at wind farms. Rob O’Neal, Mike Guski, Rich Lampeter, and Brian Graves will be at our booth each day and look forward to discussing our experience and your project goals. If you have any questions prior to the event, please feel free to email us.
Having analyzed noise impacts for more than 80 wind farms throughout the country, we are experts on sound level studies for the wind energy industry. Visit our Acoustics Web page for more information about our acoustics experience.
