NECA Environmental Conference 2014

The Northeast Energy and Commerce Association (NECA) Environmental Conference, being held on July 24 in Westborough, MA, will provide valuable information regarding the latest round of new regulations, court decisions and regulatory guidance documents that pose current and future environmental compliance challenges to the energy industry. During this one-day conference, Epsilon Associate Steve Slocomb will be providing the welcoming remarks and Managing Principal Ted Barten will be discussing the permitting of linear projects during the Linear Issues panel.
Other key areas be covered include the Utility MACT rules, 316(b) requirements, and air quality compliance demonstration guidance for SO2 and PM2.5, plus the latest perspectives on 111(d) and other regulatory updates from each of the New England states.
The conference will also include presentations on permitting linear (electric transmission and pipeline) projects and lessons learned as well as updates on Footprint Power from several different perspectives. Additionally, the conference will provide a regional and national viewpoint on the nuclear power industry.
