EVENT RECAP: WINDPOWER 2016
June 8, 2016
Epsilon’s time in New Orleans for the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) WINDPOWER Conference was well spent. It was a busy week, but the conference provided a great opportunity to learn more about the wind industry and meet with colleagues and clients.
For Epsilon, the conference began on Monday, May 23rd with the opening reception taking place at Generations Hall located right by the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The following day began with the opening general session where Tom Kiernan, Chief Executive Officer of AWEA, provided information on the current state of the wind energy industry.
On Wednesday evening, Senior Consultant Rich Lampeter had the opportunity to present another poster during this year’s poster session. His poster, entitled Sound Levels and the Evolving Regulatory Landscape, includes information on sound level regulations from across the United States.
It was another great conference and we would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth to learn about Epsilon’s wind-related services. We have already reserved our booth, and are looking forward to 2017 in Anaheim!
