January 31, 2017
The annual Energy, Utility & Environment Conference (EUEC) 2017 is being held on February 8-10, 2017 in San Diego, California. During this three-day conference, EUEC facilitates information exchange and fosters cooperation between industry, government, and regulatory stakeholders for the protection of our environment and energy security.
Both Principal Steve Slocomb and Senior Scientist Joe Sabato will be attending this year and will be presenting. Steve’s presentation will be part of Track G on Wednesday afternoon, February 8th. His presentation, “The Environmental Impact of Decommissioning in ISO-NE,” will cover environmental impacts as power plants in the New England Region come offline. Joe will be presenting in Track D, also on Wednesday afternoon, February 8th. Joe’s presentation, “Goldilocks Effect – Finding the Power Plant Site That is Just Right,” will cover the environmental permitting needs of a power plant project and how that influences finding the right site for a new power plant.
