In the News: Five Projects to Keep An Eye On
January 8, 2016

Boston development dominated the headlines in 2015, and looks continue as a favorite topic in 2016. A recent article in Banker & Tradesman highlighted five projects to keep an eye on in the New Year. Epsilon is excited to be a member of the teams moving four of the projects forward: Winthrop Square Tower in Boston’s Financial District, Midwood Tower at Downtown Crossing, NorthPoint in Cambridge, and Needham Crossing.

Proposals for Winthrop Square, located at 115 Federal Street, have outlined plans for housing, offices, and hotels. A final developer should be determined early this year and we are rooting for our client.

MidWood Tower, a proposed residential tower located at 1 Bromfield Street in Downtown Crossing, will also include retail space and parking. Epsilon provided environmental consulting services for BRA Article 80 and historic resources regulatory review.

NorthPoint, a 2 million square foot property, is being proposed as a mixed-use development. There is hope the project might see progress in 2016 with new owners who recently acquired the property.

Needham Crossing, located off Route 128, is now home to

TripAdvisor’s new headquarters and more phases of this

project are scheduled to be completed this year. Epsilon was

responsible for the preparation of the Massachusetts

Environmental Policy Act documentation including the

Environmental Impact Report, Notice of Project Change, and

Supplemental Environmental Impact Reports.
