Mike Howard Co-teaching MACC Workshop

On September 21, Principal Mike Howard will be co-teaching Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions’ (MACC’s) workshop Wetland Delineation for Beginners. This workshop is designed for Conservation Commissioners new to wetland delineation methodology. Participants will learn how to delineate bordering vegetated wetlands using the MassDEP manual “Delineating Bordering Vegetated Wetlands under the MA Wetlands Protection Act.” Commissioners will gain a better understanding of how to evaluate this resource area based on vegetation, soils and other indicators of hydrology.
