February 19, 2019
Epsilon is pleased to once again participate and support MACC’s Annual Environmental Conference to be held on March 2, 2019 at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Epsilon is sponsoring and speaking at this year’s event. The conference includes a full-day of workshops that provide timely updates and expert insights on environmental laws, regulations, policies, procedures and technologies that are important for natural resources protection and for the work of conservation commissions throughout Massachusetts.
Epsilon Principal Mike Howard (and current President of MACC) will be co-presenting on a session focused on climate resiliency, site remediation and salt marsh restoration. He will also be moderating two other sessions focusing on the siting and environmental permitting of solar array projects and the Commonwealth’s SMART Incentive Program. Principal Dwight Dunk will be co-presenting on a session entitled “Reviewing Wetland Mitigation Plans.” Marc Bergeron, Associate and MACC Director, will be moderating a session led by Eversource Energy and the Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program on the topic of protecting resource areas and wildlife habitat along electric transmission line rights of way. Members of our Ecological Sciences group will also be in attendance learning about current environmental laws and regulations as well as project insights that impact our clients and projects.
