- Epsilon Associates is seeking a full-time planner to support our planning practice. The primary duties are to research and prepare environmental review documents for agency and public review under the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, Boston’s Article 80 regulations (i.e., City environmental review), and the Massachusetts Waterways Regulations (Chapter 91). The work is both individual and collaborative and the successful candidate will be one that can work well with their fellow employees, clients, and review agencies.
Important areas of knowledge and interest may include urban planning, sustainable development, greenhouse gas emissions, and climate change resiliency/adaptation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a degree in environmental planning, environmental science, urban planning, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred, but not required. Knowledge and working experience with local, state, or federal environmental laws, regulations, and policies is also desirable. This position requires the ability to work cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, as well as problem solving, and attention to detail.

Epsilon maintains a professional office located in a historic mill in Maynard, MA. Office space is recently renovated, clean, quiet, and friendly. At this time, due to COVID, the office is open on a limited basis. Company employees are currently working remotely, which is well supported by company technology and infrastructure.
