Last year Epsilon Associates, Inc. established the Epsilon Associates Founding Principals Scholarship, a $5,000 need-based scholarship aimed at supporting the academic pursuits of a deserving graduating senior from Maynard High School. This scholarship, awarded annually in collaboration with the Maynard High School Scholarship Committee, is dedicated to students who plan to pursue college degrees in STEM fields, particularly environmental sciences, engineering, biology, or planning.
The scholarship was created to honor the enduring legacy and accomplishments of the firm’s seven founding Principals. Their dedication and contributions have laid a robust foundation for excellence in the fields of science, engineering, and planning, and this scholarship reflects their lasting commitment to fostering future leaders in these critical areas.
This year marks the second annual awarding of the scholarship, and the well deserving recipient is Joseph Brown. Joseph is currently attending the University of New Hampshire (UNH), where he is majoring in Wildlife & Conservation Biology. His enthusiasm and gratitude for the award were evident in a heartfelt thank you note he sent:
“I would like to extend a thank you for selecting me for this very generous scholarship. I plan to apply this gift (and myself!) to my planning area of study: Wildlife & Conservation Biology at UNH.”
We are thrilled to support Joseph in his academic journey and look forward to witnessing his future contributions to wildlife and conservation biology. Epsilon remains committed to nurturing the next generation of STEM professionals and is proud to invest in the bright future of students like Joseph.
Congratulations, Joseph Brown, and best of luck in your studies at UNH!
