In August, the New York State Siting Board approved the Flint Mine Solar project. New York State has now approved 14 projects under the Article 10 process, of which Epsilon has worked on seven of these projects.
The Flint Mine Solar project is a proposed 100MW-AC solar photovoltaic (PV) facility being developed at the southern end of the Town of Coxsackie and the northern section of the Town of Athens by affiliates of Hudson Energy Development and Amber Infrastructure. This recent approval means that the facility can now begin construction and move forward bringing renewable energy to the area.
Epsilon’s acoustics group has authored “Exhibit 19 Noise & Vibration” as part of the Article 10 permitting process for both solar and wind projects in New York. These approved projects are:
- Calpine’s High Bridge Wind and Bluestone Wind projects
- NextEra Energy Resources High River Solar, East Point Solar, and Eight Point Wind projects
- Avangrid’s Deer River Wind project
We are pleased to support these renewable energy projects in the State of New York that are helping to bring clean, renewable energy to thousands of homes and businesses.
