Event Recap: WINDPOWER 2013
May 13, 2013
For the seventh year, Epsilon attended the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) WINDPOWER Conference, which took place in early May in Chicago. We were able to showcase our new booth for the first time and take advantage of the many networking events and informative conference sessions.
The first full day of the conference started with an opening session featuring proponents of the wind industry, including Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel; the Governor of Iowa, Terry Branstad; the new AWEA Board Chair, Gabriel Alonso; and the new AWEA CEO, Tom Kiernan. This and the following session provided information on the current status of wind power in the United States and insight on the future of wind power.
We were pleased to connect with current clients, learn about new projects, and network with potential new clients. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn about Epsilon’s wind-related services. If you would like a PDF of any of our conference materials, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
