Epsilon Expands Northeast Energy Services Capabilities with Key Senior Hires in New York and New England

Maynard Mass. and Albany, New York, May 30, 2024 – Epsilon Associates, Inc. (Epsilon) a leading environmental compliance and permitting firm is pleased to announce that New York State energy industry veteran Ms. Tracy Darougar has joined the company as its Albany Location Manager and New York State Lead Consultant. Additionally, clean energy and electric transmission / distribution siting and permitting expert Mr. Chris Rodstrom has joined the firm as a Lead Scientist based in its Maynard, Massachusetts headquarters.

Tracy Darougar has more than 14 years of energy development and permitting experience specializing in renewable energy and transmission project development. Her expertise lies primarily with environmental licensing and permitting of complex projects including those requiring multiple federal, state, and local approvals. Her blend of technical expertise, regulatory acumen, leadership, and communications skills help to drive successful energy sector project outcomes. Tracy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from SUNY Buffalo.

Ms. Darougar leads Epsilon’s Albany office which opened in August 2023. Located on Washington Avenue Extension, the office supports New York State and New England-based energy projects including onshore and offshore wind, utility-scale solar development, battery energy storage, and electric transmission and distribution projects for developers and utilities.

Chris Rodstrom has more than 20 years of experience in energy, real estate, and conservation across the private, public, and non-profit sectors. He has dedicated his career to advancing clean energy initiatives through offshore wind, solar, battery storage, and grid modernization. He was most recently a Senior Permitting & Development Manager for Vineyard Offshore. Chris was responsible for real estate negotiations, site assessments, and remediation plans for onshore facilities in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York as well as oversight of federal and state permitting efforts for both offshore and onshore components of Vineyard Offshore’s projects. He has also served as a Project Manager for Eversource where he successfully managed numerous electric transmission, distribution and substation projects in Massachusetts.
