February 28th, 2024

Epsilon Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce the establishment of its Energy Services Practice. Epsilon has been a leading provider of strategic environmental science and permitting services to the energy industry since its founding in 1997. The formation of the Energy Services Practice benefits our existing and future clients by providing a consolidated approach to terrestrial energy projects that leverages Epsilon’s expert staff across all our existing environmental service lines including Ecological Sciences, Coastal Resources, Acoustics, Air Quality, Planning, and Cultural Resources. The Energy Services Practice fully complements Epsilon’s established Offshore Wind Practice to provide comprehensive coverage of all aspects of energy development from concept through operation.

“Epsilon’s mission as a firm is to provide exemplary strategic advice, technical expertise and environmental support to our clients across all of the markets that we serve,” said Managing Principal Rob O’Neal, CCM, INCE Board Certified. “Formalization of our Energy Services Practice will enable us to continue that tradition of excellence while adapting to this complex and ever-changing market that powers the world we live in.”

The Energy Services Practice focuses on strategic environmental consulting across all manners of land-based energy projects throughout the Northeast including battery energy storage systems, solar energy, onshore wind energy, electric transmission lines, electric substations, and natural gas infrastructure. The practice is led by industry veteran John Zimmer, who has over 25 years of experience with successful licensing and permitting of energy facilities.
